Sea Communities has been Natasha one volunteer says At Sea Communities we So now, before you

Sea Communities has been busy as always with marine conservation, English classes and of course- salt farming! This morning we were joined by two more eager volunteers to help get their hands dirty and help with the salt farming process at 7am this morning.

Natasha one volunteer says; "Pak Comet was an excellent teacher and the whole experience was fun and educational. It was also fun getting our hands dirty! Thanks to Sea Communities I had an incredible time!"

At Sea Communities we work with Ibu Rucina Ballinger and package up the salt ready to sell to help the local farmers gain a sustainable income. Each bag sells for $2.50AUD and they sure do sell fast and make great presents.

So now, before you season your food with salt, give a thought to the process it underwent before it reached your plate!
